Job Requirements of Quality Manager:
Job Duties
- Manage all in-process and final inspection of products prior to shipment to customers.
- Address all customer complaints and determine whether products qualify for warranty coverage.
- Manage all freight damages and file freight claims if the carrier is at fault.
- Compile reports on quality metrics and advise senior management accordingly.
- Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment.
- Ensure that products adhere to quality standards.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data.
- Work according to deadlines for the delivery of products.
- Train and manage production line staff in production practices and quality assessment.
- Track products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business strongly preferred).
- At least 5 years of Quality Assurance experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial position.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and ERP system experience.

Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Quality Manager for a new opening with our client, an established manufacturing company located in the Triad area. The Quality Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of quality within a busy manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.
