Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced AP Specialist for a temp to hire opportunity with one of our clients in Greensboro NC. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years accounting experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Job Duties:

•         Reconcile bank entries and compare record to ensure balances

•         Charge expenses to the necessary cost centers and process expense reports

•         Verify expense reports and process payment for employees

•         Maintain accounting ledgers and ensure posting transactions are accurate

•         Maintain historical records to ensure correct data in accounting system

•         Process all invoices

•         Enter and upload invoices into correct software system

•         Match PO’s and invoices

•         Research and analyze any holds

•         Update and report on financials daily, weekly and monthly

Job Requirements

•         Minimum of 4 years accounting experience

•         Minimum of Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred

•         Solid organization skills

•         Superior communication skills

•         Experience processing in an corporate environment preferred

•         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
