Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced AP Specialist for a temp to hire opportunity with one of our clients in Greensboro NC. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years accounting experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Job Duties:
· Reconcile bank entries and compare record to ensure balances
· Charge expenses to the necessary cost centers and process expense reports
· Verify expense reports and process payment for employees
· Maintain accounting ledgers and ensure posting transactions are accurate
· Maintain historical records to ensure correct data in accounting system
· Process all invoices
· Enter and upload invoices into correct software system
· Match PO’s and invoices
· Research and analyze any holds
· Update and report on financials daily, weekly and monthly
· Minimum of 4 years accounting experience
· Minimum of Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Solid organization skills
· Superior communication skills
· Experience processing in an corporate environment preferred
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
