Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Buyer for a Commodity Buyer contract with one of our clients here in Greensboro. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years buying experience and be able to handle large volume projects.

Job Duties:

  • Manage day to day tasks with suppliers including meetings updating agreements and presenting feedback to departments
  • Work directly with other team members and departments such as engineering and project managers to establish timelines
  • Analyze project spend and processes to evaluate areas for improvement
  • Source and qualify new suppliers and prepare RFI's and RFQ's
  • Participate in internal meets to present information

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years purchasing experience in a commodities
  • Bachelor's degree
