Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Quality Technician (floor inspector) for a prominent client in Greensboro.  Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing and quality control.  MUST HAVE QUALITY TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION.

 

Must be able to work all shifts (rotating 2/3 schedule 7:00-7:00 and also a conventional 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift as well). Will likely start out on 3rd shift and could transfer to a 12 hour shift. Must be able to work at least one out of 4 weekends.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·         Responsible for completing quality inspections and testing

·         Assist and provide quality inspectors and production team members with data to support
problem-solving efforts.

·         Provide data analysis and testing to resolve customer concerns

·         Provide recommendations to quality inspectors for product quality approval

·         Responsible for all samples collected from the production floor for audit and sampling purposes

·         Understand the function, methods, and operation of all test equipment

·         Teamwork with all plant departments is necessary

·         Certificate of Analysis generation, review, and signature approvals

·         Responsible for work place organization and cleanliness (5S)

·         Responsible for accurate sample preparation for specified testing

·         Other duties as the manager deems necessary



Job Requirements

·         High School or GED (2 year Technical Degree preferred)

·         2 years experience in manufacturing environment

·         Knowledge of quality methods and procedures

·         Hand / Eye coordination required

·         Able to stand for extended periods

·         Lifting up to 40 lbs.
