Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking experienced CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer for our clients in the Greensboro vicinity. Candidates who apply need to have familiarity setting up machines and producing parts from prints with close tolerances as well as the ability to machine parts using CNC Mills, Manual Mills, CNC Lathes and Manual Lathes with little or no supervision.


Job Description:

  • Set up machines and produce parts from blueprints with tight tolerances.
  • Ability to machine parts using CNC Mills, Manual Mills, CNC Lathes and Manual Lathes with little or no supervision.
  • Perform CNC and manual machine shop operations including the use of CNC/manual milling machines (vertical and horizontal), lathes, drill presses, hydraulic presses, and grinders.
  • Perform layout and prepare shop drawings as required.
  • Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish a specific task.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform work within estimated hours.
  • Follow all safety procedures and specifications.
  • Execute all required paperwork in connection with assigned normal duties.
  • Use and operate ground support equipment, as applicable and if qualified, in a safe manner.
  • Work with little or no supervision and accomplish assignments with little or no rework.
  • Assist other employees in the performance of their job assignments through coaching, counseling, and guidance.
  • Interface effectively with members of management, other departments, and co-workers.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience operating CNC and manual machines
  • Experience with multiple types of CNC, such as mills, lathes, routers, cutters, etc.
  • Ability to meet production/quality standards
  • Able to do heavy lifting and standing for long periods
  • History of working in a detail oriented fast paced environment
  • Proven history of excellent attendance
