Job Description

Client in Whitsett is in need of experienced CNC Machinists. These positions are on 3rd shift, Monday thru Friday, plus overtime. The pay rate is dependent upon experience and a skills assessment. Minimum of 3 years of experience with CNC setup and G-code and M-code program editing is required for consideration. Job details are listed below.

Job Requirements

  • Skilled blue print reading
  • Experience using Go/No-go gages, calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread gages and concentricity gages to inspect
  • Demonstrated knowledge of G, D &T
  • Preventative maintenance (changing filters & proper disposals, adding coolant & lube)
  • Ability to load bars into bar feeders contingent upon part
  • Ability to reset bar feeders and restart programs
  • Ability to ensure coolant lines are properly set and flowing
  • Ability to demonstrate safe manual deburring techniques
  • Ability to troubleshoot broken or worn tooling including drills
  • Ability to perform all tool changes and reset geometry
  • Ability to use pre-setter to set tooling
  • Ability to understand tool layouts
  • Demonstrate manufacturing problem solving and escalation
  • Ability to weight count parts correctly/accurately
  • Ability to find tool wear and make offsets and adjustments correctly without supervision
  • Ability to work safely and follow all safety procedures
  • Robotic experience preferred

Salary: Depends on Experience
