Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Call consumers to collect debts from 60 days (or more) past due.
  • Make arrangements with consumers for debt to be paid in full.
  • Meet defined quotas on a monthly basis.
  • Counsel consumers as to the effect of the accounts will have on their credit report and products available to them in order to clear debts.
  • Make customer service calls on debts from 30-90 days past due.
  • Accurately maintain records/data entry in response to calls and accounts.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and quotas.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to work flexible hours based on various schedules and workflow.
  • Any other special projects, tasks or duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager.

Job Requirements

Physical Demands:

  • Sit in close proximity with glass divider between two desks
  • Continuous sitting (6-11 hours per day)
  • Occasional standing and walking
  • Frequent typing on keyboard
  • Frequent looking up and down from desk/keyboard to computer monitor
  • Continuous clarity of vision at close range to perform job duties
  • Frequent talking/hearing over the telephone
  • Continuous interaction with others
