Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Compensation Analyst for a contract opportunity with a fortune 100 company here in Greensboro. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of corporate compensation and expert level Excel skills.
Job Duties:
- Sets communication plan, develops reports and executive presentations and leads steering committee meetings regarding opportunities, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks and issues.
- Gathers, organizes, and analyzes data, and builds moderate to complex models.
- Tracks progress and collaborates with finance team to validate benefits achieved by the projects and initiatives.
- Partners with cross-functional leads to gather requirements, conduct research and analysis, and draft business case.
- Facilitates working sessions to develop project plans (including timelines, milestones, and budgets) and methodologies to measure and track financial impact.
- Proactively manages cross-functional interdependencies and risks, and devises contingency plans, to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
- Partners with procurement team regarding vendor selection, negotiation, and contracting.
Works closely with leaders and HR Business Partners to align compensation programs with the organizational goals.
- Conducts market research with job benchmarking to ensure appropriate compensation alignment.
- Provides ad hoc reporting as requested and reporting and analytics around compensation programs.
- Leads compensation-related initiatives from inception to completion.
- Supports the review of compensation programs by gathering and analyzing data to provide program recommendations.
- Develops and maintains job descriptions ensuring appropriate alignment with the organization’s goals, structure, and federal and state law.
- Proactively identifies and raises awareness about concerns or risks and develops appropriate resolutions.
- Adheres to general standards to promote a cooperative working environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and team building.
