Job Description


Administers company compensation programs. Evaluates and analyzes salary data, determines pay grades, and conducts or participates in compensation surveys. Conducts job evaluations using in-depth analyses while maintaining internal equity and external competitiveness and legal compliance of pay practices.

1. Conducts job evaluations for job grade placement using salary surveys and other empirical data resources. Researches pay practices, geographical pay trends, employment trends and local job market drivers that influence salaries. Studies labor market to determine compensation trends.

2. Completes and maintains salary survey data by compiling, organizing and submitting data on a timely basis to maintain availability of cost effective salary information used for job evaluation.

3. Administer base salary programs including researching data to recommend changes to these programs.

4. Develops and documents procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

5. Develops expertise with the HRIS to assure data and processes are maintained accurately.

6. Communicates salary and bonus program information during various program activities.

7. Monitors legal decisions and legislation that impact pay programs and practices.

8. Administers incentive plan communication and payments in accordance with plan design, plan documents and performance metrics.

9. Adheres to general standards to promote a cooperative working environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.

Job Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Business or a related area.

3-5 years of experience in a Compensation or related Human Resources discipline.

Experienced in Job Analysis, Organization Analysis, data research and reporting.

Competent analysis using standard concepts, practices, and Compensation/ Human Resources procedures.

  • Advanced Excel skills – must be able to do v-look ups, pivot tables, etc.
  • Word skills – creating memos, etc.
  • Have exposure to SAP
  • Must be friendly and willing to be flexible as priorities change often

Highly skilled using Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

Exercise good judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of tasks.

Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
