Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is recruiting to place a Technical Customer Service Representative for a Temp to Hire role for a well known client in the Triad. The ideal candidate for this role will perform the following duties:

  • Provide customer service support by answering calls & providing technical support to field service technicians, distributors, and end-users to resolve equipment malfunctions
  • Take parts orders, modify existing orders, track & expedite orders
  • Maintain call reports, equipment quality and service history records
  • Answer questions regarding the features and benefits of our products
  • Participate in design and production problem resolution through quality reporting
  • Support sales managers and provide organization-wide communication
  • Support sales department with training to obtain and maintain chain accounts
  • Review operation and service manuals
  • Assist in technical training of field service representatives
  • Travel includes, but is not limited to, attending 3-4 trade shows per year, conducting technical and operational field training, conducting seminars within domestic and international markets
  • Additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements


  • Degree from 2-year technical refrigeration program or 5 years refrigeration experience
  • EPA Certified in Proper Refrigerant Practices

Preferred Skills:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish - must be able to read, write and speak English and Spanish
  • Excellent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to speak in front of large groups
  • Strong communication & organizational skills
  • Computer skills should include Excel, Outlook, Word; SAP a plus
  • Excellent analytic, problem solving, oral and written communication and negotiation skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a great attitude
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to function in a fast paced, demanding environment
  • Highly skilled in prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Must be teamwork-oriented and able to build strong customer relationships
  • Valid driver’s license required
