Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is recruiting to fill a temp to hire position for a Global Travel Administrator. The role will manage complex individual, corporate and personal travel program for employees, executives, and VIPs, including air, ground service, and living accommodations and will have a direct line to the VP.

  • Book travel including air, hotels, cars, VIP services, etc.
  • Directs employee workload to ensure adequate staffing and optimal productivity.
  • Oversees travel operations to ensure timely arrangements.
  • Negotiates travel vendor contracts and relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Manages travel processes to ensure high level of customer service.
  • Researches and resolves issues to ensure smooth travel operations.
  • Determines effective alternatives to adapt to immediate changes in travel plans.
  • Coordinates VIP itineraries, and ensures that personal effects arrive at destination on time.
  • Creates and implements departmental best practices and policies to improve efficiencies.
  • Remains current on travel industry to identify trends and cost savings.
  • Handles travel refunds.
  • Advises employees and management on travel-related requirements.
  • Manages corporate travel credit cards and provides monthly reconciliation and reporting.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Approves hiring, firing, absences overtime, performance evaluations, disciplining, and skill development. Recommends salary changes.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or related field.
  • Five to seven years experience in corporate and VIP travel including charter planes, international travel services and ground transportation
  • Five to seven years experience in corporate travel and staff supervision.
  • Occasional travel / transportation management


  • Proficient use of MS Office Products, Sabre, and Internet.
  • High levels of organizational skill, coordination, critical thinking; monitoring; negotiations, judgment, evaluation, service orientation, problem solving; troubleshooting; attention to detail; and time management
