Seasonal HR Manager - 4 month contract

Our client has a need for a Seasonal HR Manager to help create a culture which attracts and helps retain a multifaceted seasonal work force for the 4th Quarter business model.  The Seasonal HR Manager will have overall responsibility for most HR functions as it relates to seasonal team members including employee relations, recruiting, on-boarding, compensation, benefits, administration of human resource programs, employment policies, personnel, personnel record keeping, training and workforce development.  From a conceptual standpoint, the Seasonal HR Manager plays a major role in shaping the company's 'people strategy' for the Holiday Season.

Job Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in HR, business or related discipline -- or related experience.

  • PHR or SPHR designation a plus but not required.

  • HR generalist background including supervisory / management experience.

  • Thorough knowledge of US employment law and HR professional practices.

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong coaching/facilitation/advising skills.
