Print Production Specialist
Advanced Personnel Resources is partnering with a well-established manufacturing/print production organization in the High Point area to identify an experienced Print Production Specialist . This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Schedule: 1st Shift
- Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM (flexible start time available)
Pay: $24 per hour
Position Overview
The Print Production Specialist is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and optimizing digital files for print production to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality output. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare customer-supplied and internal digital files for print production
- Perform preflight checks to identify and correct file issues (fonts, links, resolution, color profiles, bleeds, etc.)
- Adjust layouts, formatting, and imposition to meet production specifications
- Perform color correction and color management to ensure print accuracy
- Create digital and/or hard copy proofs for internal and customer review
- Output files to printing devices following established production standards
- Collaborate with design, production, and sales teams to clarify file requirements
- Maintain organized file management and documentation systems
- Troubleshoot file or output issues to minimize production delays
- Ensure quality standards and production deadlines are consistently met
