Job Requirements of Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift:
Job Duties
- Oversee all plant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with top-quality results.
- Plan, organize, and monitor production activities in alignment with plant schedules, manpower resources, and business demands.
- Assign daily tasks and coordinate shift transitions by reviewing production orders, equipment status, and operational priorities.
- Track and evaluate shift performance against key metrics (safety, quality, efficiency, and environmental standards).
- Champion safety as the top company value—model safe behavior and reinforce compliance with all safety processes and regulations.
- Monitor raw materials and finished product quality; make necessary adjustments to maintain consistency and meet specifications.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and minimize waste.
- Build and sustain a positive team culture through effective communication, coaching, and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing, operations, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in a folding carton or packaging production environment strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in training, mentoring, and motivating team members.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve production challenges.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Solid communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift
Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Supervisor for our client in the Whitsett area. This position is responsible overseeing daily operations in a manufacturing facility and plays a key role in maintaining smooth production flow, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement throughout the plant. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of recent experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor and the ability to work 2pm-10pm (Monday-Friday), without issue.
