Job Requirements of Tig Welder/Fabricator:
Essential Duties:
- Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel and high-performance materials.
- Weld a variety of material combinations, including solid sheet, perforated materials, and sintered laminates.
- Complete both machine and manual welds, including seams, assembly joints, and finishing welds on tubes and panels.
- Execute tack welds, perform weld repairs, and ensure weld integrity in heat-affected zones and filtration media.
- Prepare materials for welding through cutting, shearing, and forming processes.
- Conduct post-weld finishing tasks such as grinding, shaping, swaging, and inspection to meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Inspect completed welds to verify compliance with company and industry standards for strength, precision, and durability.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support efficient workflow and continuous improvement efforts.
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proven experience performing TIG welding on stainless steel and specialty alloys.
- Experience welding a variety of materials, including solid sheet, perforated metals, and layered/sintered materials.
- Experience with material preparation processes such as cutting, shearing, and forming.
- Familiarity with post-weld finishing (grinding, shaping, inspection, etc.).
- Strong understanding of weld quality standards and ability to inspect work for accuracy and defects
- Flexible to work hours as required.

Tig Welder/Fabricator
Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking experienced Tig Welders for our client in the Greensboro area. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of recent experience as a Tig Welder. This positions works 6am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday.
