Job Requirements of Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
Job Duties
- Monitor inventory daily and communicate parts needing to be ordered.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create reports, input numerical/inventory data and project-related figures.
- Inspect incoming materials and verify quality of products.
- Schedule pick-ups and ship off invoices.
- Perform various inventory movement transactions within manufacturing systems; Receiving, Shipping, interplant transfers
- Perform cycle counts for all products with an emphasis on high running parts.
- Verify incoming goods and replenish stock in warehouse.
- Load, unload, check and verify all incoming and outgoing shipments of materials, products, equipment and supplies using forklift.
- Resize inventory locations based on demand, quantity, and packaging constraints.
- Pull orders for shipment and verify quantity prior to shipment.
- Assist with shipping products to customers.
Job Requirements
- 2 years of recent warehouse or inventory clerk experience.
- Previous experience using Microsoft Excel is required.
- Working knowledge ERP/MRP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics AX.
- Proven history of great attendance.
- Forklift Experience is preferred.
- Previous experience with Order Entry, Invoicing and Scheduling Pick-Ups.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an shipping and receiving clerk for our client in Greensboro. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of recent inventory, shipping and receiving experience and the flexibility to work overtime, as required. This position is Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
