Job Requirements of Machine Operator - Paper:
- Set up and operates machine to run efficiently with the filter machine
- Run the machine at the speed
- Respond as required to machine alarms
- Assist machine operator in any discrepancies
- Keep the machine and surrounding area
- Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines
- Perform safety checks on every machine
- Cutting machine and adjusts the line speed
- Feed block into cutting machine
- Make minor machine adjustments under the guidance of a skilled machine operator or production mechanic
- Assist the Operator with Rewinder machine
- Load raw paper stock onto the machine
- Run the machine, strap, feed
- Assist the Operator with machine
- Perform general housekeeping on and around machine
- Maintain machine efficiency and meet production standards
- Operate machine with safety as top priority
- Reporting and/or correcting machine safety issues
- Observe and examine cutting machine in operation to ensure conformance to customers' specifications
- Operate a machine in a heavy industrial facility
- Other tasks as needed/required
