Job Requirements of Quality Control Technician:

Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular quality inspections and audits on production processes.
- Conduct a variety of tests using specialized equipment to verify compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of all inspection results.
- Provide data analysis and testing support to resolve customer concerns and production issues.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members across all shifts.
- Collect and prepare production samples for audits and testing.
- Ensure all quality procedures are followed and properly documented for traceability.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas (5S principles).
- Perform all testing, reporting, and calibration activities in a timely and accurate manner.
Equipment You’ll Use
- Micrometers, thickness verification machines, and calibration tools
- Haze, COF, resistivity, and tensile testing machines (Instron)
- Tear testers, spectrophotometers, microscopes, densimeters
- Lip curl tools, scan guns, shrink baths, and other lab/production tools
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of quality methods, standards, and procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk extensively, and lift up to 40 lbs
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and quality software systems

Quality Control Technician
Quality Lab Technician / Floor Technician
Department: Quality Control / Assurance
Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager & Quality Team Leader
Location: Browns Summit, NC
Schedule: Full-Time
- 2nd shift position: 3:00PM-11:00PM
- required to work either every other Saturday night or Sunday (day shift)
About the Role
Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Lab Technician / Floor Technician to join our clients team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing inspections, audits, and tests to ensure our products meet or exceed established quality standards. You’ll work closely with the Quality, R&D, and Production teams to identify and address quality issues, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure nonconforming products are removed from production until resolved.
