Job Description


•         Oversee the day-to-day operations ensuring that the customers’ requirements are met in a cost effective manner. 

•         Coordinate import and export shipments – booking, tracking, documentation for ocean, air, and inland transportation, bookings and cargo tracking, as well as handling any customer queries

•         Provide timely updates to customers regarding any problems or delays with shipments

•         Work corroboratively with Station Manager and sales Managers in the development of pricing structures, quoting, and procedures focused on obtaining and retaining customers. 

•         Develop vendor and carrier relationships to ensure communications and services provided meet the company’s needs.

•         Manage and maintain organized files, records, reports and archives

Job Requirements


•         High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and problem solving skills. Perseverance, attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and be decisive in a fast-paced environment

•         Helpful but not required, a strong Transportation/Logistics knowledge including in-depth understanding of all market segments.

•         Demonstrated ability to prioritize and act with a sense of urgency

•         Demonstrated effective communication skills with internal and external customers

•         Independent problem solving and effective decision making abilities

•         Strong Team Player


•         Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good overall computer skills.
