Job Description


·         Oversee the day-to-day operations ensuring that the customers’ requirements are met in a cost effective manner. 

·         Coordinate import and export shipments – booking, tracking, documentation for ocean, air, and inland transportation, bookings and cargo tracking, as well as handling any customer queries

·         Provide timely updates to customers regarding any problems or delays with shipments

·         Work corroboratively with Station Manager and sales Managers in the development of pricing structures, quoting, and procedures focused on obtaining and retaining customers. 

·         Develop vendor and carrier relationships to ensure communications and services provided meet the company’s needs.

·         Manage and maintain organized files, records, reports and archives

Job Requirements


·         High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and problem solving skills. Perseverance, attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and be decisive in a fast-paced environment

·         Helpful but not required, a strong Transportation/Logistics knowledge including in-depth understanding of all market segments.

·         Demonstrated ability to prioritize and act with a sense of urgency

·         Demonstrated effective communication skills with internal and external customers

·         Independent problem solving and effective decision making abilities

·         Strong Team Player



·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good overall computer skills.
