MARKETING DIRECTOR

 

Our client, a well-established and successful non-profit organization is has an expansion project they are taking national. They have an immediate a Marketing Director to execute the building of an audience, brand image, visibility, and awareness of the organization across the country. The Marketing Director will work alongside a start-up team to develop new products and services that promote well-being and take these products to market. This will include management and supervisory responsibilities.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Leadership

  • Contribute to the development and execution of a go to market strategy for the division.
  • Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan to support the launch and ongoing work of the division.
  • Continue to develop and communicate the division’s identity and brand.
  • Oversee marketing functions including the marketing and communication materials, division's website, videography, public relations campaigns, social media, digital marketing, etc.
  • Partner with the Organization’s Marketing Director and marketing team to ensure complimentary messaging.
  • Coordinate a cross-functional team to execute data-driven, digitally native, multi-channel message distribution plans aimed at putting the right message in the right place at the right time.
  • Cultivate relationship with key stakeholders for brand building and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with the team to support organizational initiatives through effective marketing
  • Setting department processes to maximize efficiencies and manage marketing costs
  • Facilitate digital agility through real-time analysis of, and adjustments to, marketplace trends, channel needs.
  • Gather qualitative and quantitative insights that steer product and category direction
  • Supervise marketing staff, interns, and volunteers to accomplish the goals and successful marketing initiatives.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws. This includes recruiting, direct supervision, workforce development and retention of employees according to agency policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 6+ years experiences in marketing, particularly with a focus on audience segmentation, social media content development, digital marketing, and multi-media production
  • Experience working in service-oriented organizations is preferable
  • Strong organization, management, and leadership skills
  • Design skills
  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft suite and Salesforce
  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge of advertising principles, practices, and design
  • Working knowledge of editorial processes
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with committees, community organizations, vendors, employees, and the public.
