Material Handler in Greensboro, NC at Advanced Personnel Resources

Job Description

Local plastics company is seeking qualified candidates with a background in machine operation and material handling to support one of their two Greensboro area facilities. 8 hour and 12 hour shifts are available based on candidate preference.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Injection molding production floor for proper operation of material handling equipment
• Monitor work orders to assure correct materials are being used during production runs
• Maintain proper set up of additive mixing equipment
• Maintain appropriate levels of raw material to the production floor during the shift
• Consolidation of materials
• Maintain proper identification of all material containers
• Supply correct packaging needed per work order requirements
• Identify and label finished production (as needed)
• Scan finished production into inventory (as needed)
• Scan materials to the daily transfer truck (as needed)
• Shrink wrap and move finished production to the correct locations
• Perform line clearances
• Maintain good housekeeping
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Forklift experience / stand up a plus
• Basic math skills
• Communication skills
• Overtime as needed
