Job Description

Material Planner

Description: 

·         Efficiently procure material from suppliers, in accordance with the delivery schedules and/or other agreements to ensure on time deliveries and material availability at point of use.

·         Analyze and act on late/early deliveries and other warnings/alerts. Verify and secure correct parameter settings and master data.

·         This role will be responsible for the following:

·         Secure that prototype orders are fulfilled as required and agreed delivery date

·         Proactively follow up to ensure confirmed agreements are met

·         Follow up  issuing prototype orders and responses (accept/reject) from internal or external supplier. Secure those responses are updated in systems and confirmed.

·         Supervise and manage projects to ensure that order information is transmitted within systems correctly

·         Register relevant order information in systems.

·         You will break down Bill of Material and define where to request right part level to be able to place correct request internally

·         You will manage request to procure parts

·         Place request for prototype part and sub-assembly components for product and after-market.

·         Work with appointed internal suppliers within his/her appointed area and monitor the deliveries.

·         Inform and discuss deviations in delivery dates within Product Build, internal requester, and / or engineer if needed

·         Work on test  objects handled by Product Builds according to plan new builds, rebuilds, any rigs and test, AE demands or all single orders handled by Product Builds

·         report 100 % delivery time in accordance with agreed built plans

·         You will monitor mail form requests received thru the internal mailbox and transfer information as needed

·         Work in close collaboration with Delivery Controllers, and planning analyst to follow up availability of parts and solve together issues related to late deliveries.

·         As the liaison contact for the warehouse team for all internal orders

·         Create Request Lists in internal system and provide updates and status reports on parts weekly Active participant to weekly meetings

Job Requirements

  • HS Diploma- Required
  • Bachelors Degree-Preferred
  • 3 years in Supply Chain Management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
