Job Description

Assembly Tech  

International manufacturing company is seeking experienced assemblers to assist in the assembly of mechanical devices utilizing hand and power tools. 1st and 2nd shift schedules are available.

***Excellent Benefits when candidates go perm, 15 days PTO, 10 holidays, 4 insurance plans where employee only pays 15-25% out of pocket max, etc. ***

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Assembling various types of products per work order and within stated scrap rates
  • Balancing & testing parts and motors
  • Staging parts
  • Reading blueprints
  • Using precision measurement equipment
  • Daily workplace cleaning
  • Operating a forklift & pallet jack
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in production
  • Working with basic hand tools & precision measuring equipment.
  • Basic math skills
  • Experience with inventory
  • Working with hand tools, detail oriented in a fast paced environment, familiar with metric system
  • Familiar with windows based computers
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing
  • Ability to stand on concrete for the entirety of the shift
  • Ability to pick up and move parts
  • Heavy lifting (50 lbs. to 70 lbs.)
  • Ability to reach, bend, handle, lift, walk and stand
  • Ability to work in non-climate controlled environment
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States
