Job Description

Primary Job Duties:

-Ordering, receiving and distribution of parts

-Must be able to count and perform basic math.

-Maintain inventory integrity to eliminate shortages to prevent unnecessary downtime

-Organize Parts Rooms to minimize wait time for maintenance personnel

-Monitor inventory daily and communicate parts needing to be ordered

-Ensure the security of the inventory

-Maintain a safe work environment

-Maintain part numbers and quantities

-Basic computer skills in Excel, Word

-Detail oriented

-Must be able to work a flexible shift if needed

-Generate Purchase Orders & Requisitions

-Maintains cleanliness of the work area.

-Follows proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) at all times.

-Communicate any issues to a supervisor/manager.

-Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

Essential Job Functions/Requirements:

-Must be able to read and comprehend schedule.

-Must be able to write.

-Must have excellent communication skills.

-Must be capable of lifting or maneuvering up to 55 pounds without assistance.

-Must be able to assist in lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.

-Must be able to stand for 8 - 10 hours per day.

-Must be physically capable of moving to all areas of the plant (climbing, squatting,
  bending, kneeling, twist, lift, reach, pulling. pushing).

-Must be able to stack trays or boxes up to 7 feet high.

-Must be able to use pallet jack or hand cart or dollies.

-Must be able to view parts and determine adherence to quality control standards
  including size, shape, color, cut, etc.

-Must be able to verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of
  stock, and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors.

-Must be able to determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location
  based on turnover, environmental factors and physical capabilities of facilities.

-Picks up or delivers parts, supplies, work vehicles or other equipment as needed.

-Must be able to read, comprehend and practice necessary safety procedures,
  signs, etc.

-Must be able to perform all duties assigned by supervisor/manager.

-Performance of other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.

Experience: Three or more years of experience in manufacturing industry preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
