Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Quality  Control Specialist for a contract opportunity with one of our largest pharmaceutical/Medical companies here in Greensboro. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and have experience working with clinical trials, pharmaceutical devices and or drug manufacturers. This is a contract opportunity with an amazing company.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and update electronic document system
  • Work cross functionally with quality control teams
  • Ensure that all company documents are reviewed and approved by the correct documents and supervisors prior to cataloging and uploading to electronic database
  • Ensure that all documents are correct in format and content prior to approving
  • Assign and track document numbers on excel spreadsheet
  • Support and work through external and internal audits including those through the FDA
  • Provide direction to make adjustments to documentation process
  • Ability to communicate with multiple departments including engineering, production, continuous improvement and any other department deemed necessary.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical and scientific experience required
  • 3-5 years of document control experience: preferably in a manufacturing, clinical study or pharmaceutical environment
  • Ability to prioritize work to ensure all projects are completed
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues
  • Provide feedback and ensure that necessary changes are made
  • Superior experience working in Excel and SAP
