Senior EHS Manager

Our client, an international industry leader, has an immediate need for a Sr. EHA Manager. This position is responsible for 1) ensuring site compliance with governmental regulatory requirements and Corporate Standards as related to the Safety, Occupational health, and Environmental arenas, 2) total EHS responsibilities and leading the implementation and/or development of environmental and occupational safety and health programs and policies designed to prevent harm to workers, property and the environment, as well as the general public.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science Safety or Health, or related technical field.
  • 7+ years of progressively more responsible work experience in safety related management or line leadership with safety emphasis.
  • Exposure to and knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Certified Safety Professional preferred.
  • Knowledge of 1) Federal, state and local EHS regulations and 2) SHE Programs and Training.
  • Strong ability to influence and lead associates, operations support, administrative support and leadership staff.
  • Strong problem solving skills, with very systematic approach and analytical mentality.
