DESCRIPTION

The overall responsibility of this position is to provide excellent customer support to customers, to efficiently and effectively process a full range of customer requests and orders, and to support the outside sales efforts to service the customer.

  • Build and cultivate relationships with internal and external customers including understanding and interpreting their needs and expectations.
  • Ability to navigate various supplier web sites to gain information needed for supporting customer and outside sales requests.
  • Multitask and prioritize to bring multiple customer requests to a satisfactory conclusion at the same time.
  • Customer Order Management, data entry, expediting, change orders
  • Quoting price and delivery
  • Ability to problem solve, find solutions / options to resolve issues for customers.
  • To be accountable for your own efforts and abilities by regularly monitoring your individual progress with a “best yourself “attitude.
  • Ability to work towards “team effort” expectations, while maintain your own accountability to the team. 

Job Requirements

Minimum experience of a Bachelors Degree education with 5+ years Technical Customer Service experience in a problem solving, fast paced, technical environment

Proficient with MS Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook).   Experience using Netsuite ERP a plus.
