Textile Machine Operator in Greensboro, NC at Advanced Personnel Resources

Job Description

Well-established Greensboro textile company is seeking experienced machine operators for several operator and inspection openings. A background in textiles is a plus, but not required. Candidates should be comfortable using basic hand tools, hoists, scissors, and tape measures as needed. 

Procedures:

1. Cuts samples of greige rolls.
2. Loads rolls into creel stand.
3. Sews seam between rolls.
4. Records information on entry end run sheet and entry end check sheet.
5. Communicates yards and greige roll information to the exit end.
6. Threads up the fabric through the entry end.
7. Monitors process settings and ensures that machine is running by process.
8. Monitors No Finish alarm systems and records on check sheet.
9. Monitors incoming greige quality.
10. Maintains safe work area and follows established safety rules.
11. Performs housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work area.
12. Performs other duties as requested by immediate supervisor.
13. Wears appropriate personal protective equipment.
