Production Operator

Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a Production Operator to join a local company! The right candidate will be able to work a 12 hour shift, and have production and machine operating experience.

Responsibilities:

• Become familiar with the functions of the line, conveying heat settings to finished product.
• Understand machine set up parameters and specifications
• Inspect the yarn path to ensure proper package build
• Assist the shift lead with yarn production and monitor doff times
• Monitor thread lines, finish guides and package build to ensure first quality product
• Provide hands on assistance for the line startup, pack changeovers, and shut down.
• Complete quality inspections, sampling plan, and yard testing requirements
• Complete all production documents at designated intervals
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues
• Clear and concise notes in the communication log
• Work with supervisor and operators to improve operation efficiency, quality, and waste
• Assist with guidance, training, and support of new employees
• Start on time, communicate with incoming/outgoing shift, ensure adherence to all company policies (break times, cell phone use, safety etc.)
• Promote safety, quality, and teamwork with all shifts.
• Complete daily housekeeping duties

Job Requirements:
