Job Requirements of Furniture Assembler / Warehouse Packer:
Job Duties:
- Use a glue gun to attach foam pieces to wood frames and plastic shells for furniture assembly.
- Follow production instructions and quality standards to ensure strong, accurate adhesion.
- Handle materials carefully to maintain clean and professional assembly.
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and consistency.
- Perform light packing of finished furniture products.
- Place items into boxes and palletize them for shipment.
- Use team lifts for heavier items (heavier lifting is rare).
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
Job Requirements:
- Prior gluing or assembly experience preferred (especially in furniture, upholstery, or similar manufacturing).
- Basic mechanical or hand-tool skills.
- Ability to stand, move, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally (team lifts for heavier items).
- Dependable and able to work well with others.
- Ability to meet production/quality standards.

Furniture Assembler / Warehouse Packer
Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking a Glue-Up/Packing Associate for our client in High Point.
Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of recent experience in Glue-Up and Packing due to the precision and care required in the glue-up process.
This role will be approximately 50/50 between the Gluing and Packing areas.
This position works 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday.
