Job Requirements of Slitter Operator:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up cutting blades in the correct combination of sizes
- Load paper rolls into the machine using an automatic lift
- Operate overhead crane to lift rolls when required
- Cut carton cores using the core cutter machine
- Lift winding bar and load it with carton cores
- Thread paper through the machine
- Start, supervise, and regulate machine speed and pressure
- Complete all required production logs accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to read a ruler accurately
- Must be able to operate a clamp truck
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays
- Ability to stand for periods of up to 60 minutes
- Ability to lift 2–10 lbs continuously and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must wear required PPE and adhere to all safety rules

- Exposure to airborne dust, non-toxic/nuisance odors, moving mechanical parts, and high noise levels

- Regular communication and listening

Advanced Personnel is hiring for Slitter/Rewinder Operator for our client in the Greensboro, NC area.
Location: Greensboro, NC
Schedule: Train on 1st shift then move to 2nd shift
Pay$ 17.30 + $1.00 Shift Diff. once moved to 2nd shift.
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Slitter/Rewinder Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for running one primary machine and operating a core-cutting band saw. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, technically skilled, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.
