Job Requirements of Machine Operator:
- Adjust viscosity and color according to specifications.
- Deliver gelatin to the Capsule Machine Room with the correct viscosity, color and formula.
- Maintain feed tank levels to capsule machine tanks.
- Wash the Gel Prep equipment in the designated Wash Room area.
- Label and ID all clean equipment according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Pre-stage the gelatin equipment for color changes.
- Enter data into the company’s computer software systems, DMAC and BPCS.
- Perform DMAC and BPCS transactions associated with material used in the batching process.
- Complete documentation in accordance to cGMP procedures.
- Operate both electrical and pneumatic control equipment.
- Assist in maintaining Gel Prep room supplies such as pre-mixes and housekeeping supplies.
- Perform, according to SOP’s, capsule dimension tests to ensure quality capsules. These include, but are not limited to: ? Double Wall ? End Thickness
- Maintain documentation of production batches while on the production floor.
- Check calibration on devices and report when there are deviations.
- Interact with DMACS process software to perform tasks and upload information.
- Monitor E-Sorter quality through shift, taking action when critical defects appear
- Monitor French Sorter loss and take corrective action when excessive.
- Monitor ICES quality – evaluate cutting and joining quality.
- Monitor control chart trends of dimensional reading and take action when needed.
- Specify viscosity pans by evaluating water additions in DMACS.
- Clear minor jams and downtime occurrences on capsule manufacturing machines.
- Assist with color changes.

Machine Operator
We are looking for experienced Machine Operators for our client in Whitsett, NC. These roles are temp-to-hire and offer great benefits!
Pay $16 to $17/hr
Shift - 6:45pm-7:15am (Rotating 2.2.3 schedule)
Other Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with viscosity control and concepts.
Familiarity the safety rules of the work site.
Familiarity with GMP’s and SOP’s.
Familiarity with Quality Systems Procedures.
Familiarity with Capsule Manufacturing Procedures.
Familiarity with BPCS and DMAC control systems.
Familiarity with mechanical principles.
Recognition of different colors.
Team oriented environment experience.
