Laboratory Technician / Chemist
Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician / Chemist for a great opportunity with one of our clients in the Greensboro area. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry OR laboratory experience outside of school is highly preferred.

Job Duties:
- Manage basic laboratory procedures
- Develop solutions and prepare mechanical pipettes
- Log and track results from tests
- Contribute to department managers on alternate processes
- Utilize GC and HPLC
- Machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Verification of lab equipment as required (i.e., pipettors, dispensers, and balances).
- Assist with setting up and conducting standardized laboratory experiments, tests, and basic analyses.
- Follow multi-step processes
- Ensure 100% quality control over all experiments
- Works closely with the assigned R&D Team Manager to assist in conducting tests to evaluate benefits and claims for products.
- Maintain inventory and safe storage of laboratory chemicals.
- Maintain, operate, and understand analytical R&D lab equipment such as FTIR, DMA, and DSC.
