- Skilled in installation and maintenance of pumps, bearings, pulleys, belts, chains, gearboxes, and related components.
- Proficient in automation, production, and computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail with clear communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with effective communication across all levels.

Electromechanical Technician 1st and 2nd shift
Advanced Personnel Resources is actively recruiting for an experienced Electromechanical Technician to support growth and expand a high-performing food manufacturing client of ours in Winston-Salem, NC . . This is an exciting opportunity to grow with a stable company where your technical expertise will be valued.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (2/2/3 schedule)
S tarting pay: $27 plus per hour DOE
Employment Type: Direct hire
Position Summary
The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and adjusting equipment to ensure it operates according to specifications and production requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Service, repair, adjust, and test various machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
- Learn production equipment processes and operations to support troubleshooting and operations.
- Perform and document preventative maintenance tasks.
- Conduct effective troubleshooting in a timely manner.
- Perform minor electrical repairs and troubleshoot motors, VFDs, PLCs, and both high and low voltage applications.
- Safely work inside electrical panels and understand the function of all components.
- Read and interpret wiring schematics and machine manuals.
- Troubleshoot safety switches and safety circuitry.
- Perform welding and use of acetylene torch.
- Work with pneumatic controls and hydraulic equipment.
- Maintain gearboxes and conveyors.
- Keep work area clean, safe, and in compliance with safety standards.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and food safety/quality system requirements.
