Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is looking for candidates with heavy assembly experience for a direct hire position in Archdale, NC.

Shift: 6:30am-4:30pm M-F

Pay: $17-22 / hour , depending on experience

Successful candidate will be working in the Truck manufacturing department where the mobile shred trucks are assembled and started up Mechanically, electrically, and hydraulically. APR is looking for candidates in all areas of the manufacturing process due to an increase in manufacturing requirements.
The successful candidate will require his own hand tools and possess a valid driver’s license. This job requires the physical ability to lift 75 LBS and be able to work in a moderately physical environment.
The candidate must be punctual and a self-motivated individual able to work in a team environment. Knowledge of welding, hydraulics, print reading and electrical is an asset but not required.

Duties:

  • Run wire and wire shredder system in the truck.
  • Assist in building the truck bodies.
  • Help QC the trucks.
  • Keep shop and work area clean.
  • Wiring the truck before hydraulic system goes into place.

Required:

  • Industrial electrical
  • Must have good hand tools.
  • Maintenance background
  • Able to lift 75 - 150 lbs.
  • Able to read and understand Schematics.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Support sub-assembly and assembly work for prototype and validation parts
  • Resolve assembly and production issues
  • Suggest product and assembly line improvements
  • Perform assembly functions alongside the RES assembly team
  • Communicate assembly problems to engineering
  • Perform pre-assembly quality check on all components
  • Assist in the efficient assembly of components
  • Obtain proper assembly-build requirements
  • Participate in the assembly, test, and integration of initial equipment deliveries Cable assembly Electrical box assembly Rack assembly Redlining prints
  • Interpret assembly blueprints or specifications manuals and plan assembly or building operations
  • Perform a variety of assembly operations
  • Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings
  • Use interferometer for assembly and final testing
  • Adhering to the assembly budget/timing
  • Provide direction to contract assembly personnel
  • Perform 2nd level assembly operations
  • Interpret assembly blueprints and specifications manuals
  • Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers
  • Audit the quality process of the system assembly and test
  • Provide prototype and first article assembly of electronic assemblies
