Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist for our client in Whitsett. Candidates who apply need to have familiarity setting up, programming and operating CNC Milling Machines. Candidates also need experience producing parts from prints with close tolerances using milling machines with little or no supervision.

Job Requirements

Job Duties:

  • Set up, program, and operate 5 axis CNC Milling Machine.
  • Produce parts from blueprints with tight tolerances.
  • Ability to machine parts with little or no supervision.
  • Perform layout and prepare shop drawings as required.
  • Read blueprints, utilize precision measurement tools while using the metric system.
  • Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish a specific task.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform work within estimated hours.
  • Follow all safety procedures and specifications.
  • Execute all required paperwork in connection with assigned normal duties.
  • Use and operate ground support equipment, as applicable and if qualified, in a safe manner.
  • Interface effectively with members of management, other departments, and co-workers.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience programming CNC milling machines is required.
  • Previous experience with precision measuring.
  • Ability to meet fast-paced production/quality standards.
  • Able to do heavy lifting and standing for long periods.
  • History of working in a detail oriented fast paced environment.
  • Proven history of excellent attendance.

Starting Pay: $29-30/hr.
