Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking a Delivery Driver for our client in Winston Salem, NC. Ideal candidates will have at least 2+ years of general driving experience, a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for transporting products from main office to local clients.
  • Assist in pulling orders for delivery .
  • Interact with clients and provide adequate customer service.
  • Pull orders for shipment and verify quantity prior to shipment.
  • Maintain a clean delivery vehicle.
  • Deliver the correct products to the correct customer.
  • Follow designated routes and delivery time schedules.
  • Load, unload, check and verify all incoming and outgoing shipments of materials, products, equipment and supplies.
  • Perform and execute all material transactions in computer database.
  • Verify incoming goods and replenish stock in warehouse.

Job Requirements

  • 2 years of general driving experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean Driving record
  • Proven history of great attendance.
  • Previous route delivery experience is a plus (no CDL needed).
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Direct Hire

Starting Pay: $15/hr.

Job Requirements

  • Navigate a delivery truck while making deliveries
  • Establish an efficient route of delivery to ensure timely delivery
  • Fill orders for delivery to customers
  • Using the company delivery truck
  • Meet a scheduled delivery or pick-up time
  • Creating delivery routes and loading/unloading packages
  • Operate a vehicle equipped with a standard (manual) transmission, lift gates and other material handling equipment
  • Deliver and pick up packages at a consistent pace during a full work shift, while maintaining acceptable performance and safety levels
