Advanced Personnel Resources is partnering up with a local company who is looking for a Furnace Tech! This person will have the ability to independently set up and operate moderately complex manufacturing equipment that requires specialized skill or expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and technical specifications/procedures.
- Proficiency (setup, operation, maintenance) on all types of equipment used in work cell within 90 days of hire.
- Proficient in all aspects of measurement gages for the area after conclusion of training period and ability to train others.
- Maintain a safe workplace for self and fellow team members via compliance of safety policies and procedures, as well as active engagement with the safety program.
- Produce product in timely manner while following all quality system requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Forklift certification capable.
- Proficient in all aspects of paperwork for the area within 30 days.
- Ability to train team members.
- Active participation in high performance team (HPT) initiatives to achieve goals.
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise; excellent problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work and thrive in team environment.
- Must be able to work overtime or occasional flex shifts when required, including weekends.
- Other tasks as assigned.
