Metal Sander in Greensboro at Advanced Personnel Resources

Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is partnering up with a local company looking for a sander! This individual will have prior sander experience with metal and wood, and be able to work safely and in a timely manner.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare signs, sign faces and cabinets for painting
  • Apply bond if necessary to cabinets and sand accordingly
  • File small plate letters
  • Clean signs thinner
  • Move sign, sign faces and cabinet from prep area to booths and back possibly using either wheeled truck or a forklift.
  • Keep work area clean and free from debris
  • Operate some or all of the following tools: Electric hand sander, electric pain gun, forklift, and variety of hand tools.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous issues simultaneously
  • Organized, detail and result oriented
  • Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Mechanical capabilities
  • Ability to work in a faced-paced, high volume environment
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret sign/shop drawings and specifications. 

Shift: 5am- 2:30p OR 6am-3:30p (Some OT and some Saturdays)


Pay: $14.00
