Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced forklift drivers for our client in Winston-Salem. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of recent forklift experience and the ability to work overtime as required. This position works from a 12-hour night shift, 7pm-7am on a 2-2-3 schedule....and 7am-7pm day shift as well.

Job Duties:

  • Utilize sit-down forklift to load/unload trailers.
  • Maintain accuracy of raw goods inventory.
  • Supply appropriate levels of raw material to the production floor throughout the shift.
  • Pack orders accurately for shipment utilizing RF Scanners.
  • Maintain accuracy of finished goods inventory.
  • Oversee daily operations of shipping department including inspection of product, packaging and outbound shipment.
  • Regular review of raw and finished goods inventory via report management and schedule cycle counts.

Job Requirements:

  • Recent sit-down forklift experience is required .
  • Proven record of great attendance.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs. throughout shift.
  • Physical ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to meet production/quality standards.

  • Selecting and preparing orders for shipping to complete customer orders
  • Assemble orders in shipping containers
  • Prepare customer orders for shipping
  • Pull orders in a cold environment
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, or convey orders to packing station or shipping department
  • Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
  • Fill customer orders in the established manner
  • Assist in preparing the customer orders for delivery
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, and/or convey orders to packing station or shipping department
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, and convey orders to packing station or shipping department
  • Use order sheets or an audio headset
  • Pulling together orders based off of customer orders
  • Transported filled orders to and from shipping area
  • Building customer orders in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers
  • Provide a quality check on all orders for any misprints, false quantities, non-stocked items, closed carton orders, partial quantities, double orders
  • Selecting/pulling customer orders using electric pallet jack
  • Pick perishable goods in refrigerated and/or frozen rooms
  • Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
  • Completed store orders, and deliver to shipping dock
