Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking individuals for our Kernersville client. These are direct hire opportunities paying $21/hour. This is a 12-hour Night shift , 6pm-6am Mon-Thurs / 48 hours per week.
Responsibilities :
- Operate and monitor machinery - warping - loading creel.
- Set up machines and perameters according to weaving data sheet, production requirements and tie in packages of yarn.
- Load and unload finished materials.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during operation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Identify defects according to standards. Log defects using computer system.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
-Work in a nonclimate controlled area / indoors.
Skills:
- Warehouse experience / manufacturing / textiles.
- Proficiency in operating machinery / fabricating products.
- Knowledge of math - addition, subtraction, measurements, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
- Data entry of records and testing capabilities.
-Able to lift, push, pull up to 75 lbs. Standing the entire shift.
