Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Medical Billing professional with a strong background in collections and payment management.
Job Duties:
- Process patient payments via mail and online payment
- Upload files into online portate.
- Reconcile all payments
- Post overpayments and review reports
- Work any pending payments and outstanding issues
- Adjust self payments portals to ensure that all payments are correct
- Generate prepayment letters and ensure payment of at least 50% of payment prior to surgery
- Post payments via telephone and mail
- Work with third party collection agencies
- Post collection agency payment reports when received each month
- Review balance report and make necessary changes
- Process deceased and bankruptcy patient accounts
- Create auto drafts for payments
- Return all messages and voicemails in a timely manner
- Maintain confidentiality
