Triad-area nonwovens manufacturer is seeking an experienced maintenance manager to lead their maintenance team in maintaining facility and production equipment.
Direct hire
This will be supervisor level position. The hours would be daytime, 7-3 or 9-5 Monday- Friday.
Experience addition to nonwovens (PLCs, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical vs. Electrical, etc. would be a plus)
At least 10 years of industrial maintenance experience and nonwoven experience would be a plus.
They would need experience as a maintenance supervisor or manager with multi shift experience

Primary Duties:
The primary duties of the employee are (but not limited to) the following:
- Be responsible for all mechanical and electrical components in the plant
- Maintain building and grounds as required by management and conform to all OSHA, state and federal regulations
- Purchase all spare parts, supplies, tools for maintenance, cleaning supplies and baler items
- Maintain good relationships with approved vendors to ensure the best value is obtained for products and services
- Develop and maintain a complete preventive maintenance schedule and revise if necessary
- Maintain a capable maintenance crew and be responsible for their performances
- Recommend capital improvements and generate costs of Capitol Expenditures
- Keep all inspections and checklist up to date
- Conform to all Quality/Safety requirements and procedures
- Keep a clean and orderly workplace
- Be active in safety plan, including all alarm systems/programs
- Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels
- Verify the implementation of solutions
- Control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
- Participate in the Continuous Quality improvements process
