Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is looking for an Ad ministrative Assistant for a client of ours in the Browns Summit area. This position requires a variety of daily tasks including but not limited to, answering four phone lines, greeting occasional customers and vendors, bookkeeping, filing, preparing Excel spreadsheets for various job and costing reports. Candidate will perform a variety of accounting functions entering vendor invoices, receiving inventory, billing, and preparing expense reports.

Working environment/requirements:

  • Small office environment, Monday-Friday from 7:30 am-4:00 pm.
  • Bending, stooping and light lifting are required

Administrative Assistant Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping
  • Ability to answer four phone lines
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be able to organize work and meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to type with speed and accuracy
  • Must possess basic math skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and as a team

Job Requirements

 Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience
