Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking Wire Assembly Technicians for our client in High Point, NC. Ideal candidates should have a proven history of good attendance.

1st shift 6am - 4:30pm

2nd shift 4pm - 2:30am

Wire Assembly

I. Purpose of Position:

  • Assembly of electrical components

II. Key Responsibilities

  • Able to learn the functions and requirements of the electromechanical assembly trade.
  • Able to learn the terminology and blueprints.

Job Requirements

  • Load raw wire into wire
  • Make repairs to wire and manage snarls in the wire
  • Develop wire bonding programs and methods for wire bonding products
  • Validating wire instructions and authorizations
  • Read and comprehend wire charts
  • Understand schematics, wire lists, wire diagrams and assembly drawings
  • Write and develops wire bonding programs and methods for wire bonding products
  • Performing functions related to wire transfers
  • Work center for each wire harness
  • Maintain wire logs and properly executed wire documentation to comply with audit standards
  • Bend, and forms wire cable
  • Assure all necessary wire information be
  • Assemble specific parts to create wire harnesses
  • Using wire harness boards (nail boards)
  • Verify proper routing and secure wire harness
  • Identify and wire all devices on unit
  • Place buried service wire at customer's premise
  • Cut plastic sleeves and slip sleeves over wire
  • Perform hand wire wrap operation using hand tools
  • Accepting wire transfer requests from Branch personnel
