Job Description

 Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Help Desk Administrator for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients in Miami. ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience be able to work independently and assist with hotfixes, virus protection and updating operating systems.


  • Working knowledge and experience with Windows Operating systems 7/10, and Microsoft Office
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Ability to analyze and implement Operating System patches, hot fixes, updates, virus protection and Spyware removal
  • Ability to work independently to diagnose and correct system problems
  • Install, upgrade, and configure client accounts, network printing, file servers, directory structures, rights and security within domain environment
  • Reliable and friendly self-starter with ability to take initiative and learn quickly
  • Read and converse well in English
  • Type/navigate mouse at quick pace while holding a conversation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations
  • Navigate multiple computer systems

Duties & responsibilities

  • Supply computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
  • Settle computer problems, and offer suggestions on appropriate action/solutions
  • Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
  • Must have creative problem solving capabilities.
